Flexible protection for every need: Paletti develops laser safety cabin for Hesse GmbH

Maximum personal protection on the one hand and high functionality on the other – laser safety cabins place extreme demands in a wide variety of areas. To make matters worse, the cabins must be tailored to the individual needs of the user and the conditions on site. Laser safety cabin for a global market leader

Fully automatic ultrasonic wire bonders and welding systems as well as laser welding systems are the business model of Hesse GmbH from Paderborn. As a global market leader for high-quality, customer-specific automation solutions in assembly and connection technology, the company places the highest demands on quality assurance and occupational safety. This resulted in extremely complex specifications for its new laser safety cabin. Due to the limited space available and the operating conditions, large hinged doors with an opening angle of over 180 degrees had to be installed. In addition, the ESD floor covering could not be damaged during the assembly work.

Everything’s palaver thanks to the modular system

The extremely demanding conditions clearly show the arguments in favor of laser safety cabins from Paletti. Thanks to our flexible modular system, we were able to react dynamically to the challenges mentioned and adapt the cabin to the available space. The integration of the required doors also proved to be problem-free with our wide selection of process doors, maintenance doors and cable ducts. As is usual with our laser safety cabins, different aluminum construction profiles were used so as not to compromise on functionality or safety.
