Regional Sales Manager (m/f/d)

For our team we are looking for a

Paletti USA is seeking a dynamic sales manager for the North East region of the United States. This candidate will be a self-starter possessing the drive to exceed territory sales targets by growing the existing customer base, as well as cold calling and developing new relationships. When not traveling, this position works remotely. Understanding and relating customer requirements to our engineering team, and developing proposals to match our solutions to customer requirements, are key responsibilities in this role.

Your tasks

  • Building upon current sales base in the region
  • Growing our portfolio of customers with in the geographic territory
  • Identifying customer issues and working with the internal team to provide solutions
  • Closing new business
  • Providing and maintaining a sales forecast and opportunity pipeline
  • Developing and managing strategic partnerships

Our requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial automation, with 3 years of direct outside sales experience
  • BS Engineering degree or relevant work experience/educational background desired
  • Ability to work in fast paced, dynamic environment and self-prioritize tasks
  • A mechanical aptitude
  • An ability to understand engineering drawings/prints, and the ability to sketch requirements
  • Ability to travel to meet and work with distributors, representatives, and realize direct sales
  • An understanding of safety protocols in industrial environments
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding goals
  • Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle
  • Ability to drive long distances and/or fly to locations as necessary, lift and carry up to 50 lbs., and stand for hours representing the company at trade shows/conferences
  • Full vaccination against COVID-19 is required
