Assembler (m/f/d)

For our team we are looking for a

Paletti USA is continually looking for experienced Assemblers to join our busy, growing Production Department. This role will challenge your mechanical abilities as you follow engineering drawings to build large, unique products with aluminum extrusion according to customer specifications. Every day it’s something different! (Note: there are no electrical components involved.) This position is first shift (6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.) Monday through Friday, with the possibility of overtime based on business conditions.

Your tasks

  • Prepare work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, CAD drawing specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, sub-assemblies, tools, and materials
  • Position parts and sub-assemblies by using templates or reading measurements
  • Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and sub-assemblies
  • Verify specifications by measuring completed component
  • Resolve assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications; notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources
  • Keep equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions
  • Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
  • Conserve resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results
  • Document actions by completing production and quality forms
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Our requirements

  • A high school diploma or GED, prior assembly experience and initiative to do things right the first time
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast paced, ever changing environment
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and measurement skills; knowledge of metric system would really be great
  • Experience reading engineering prints and work orders
  • Capable of following detailed, multi-step instructions
  • Ability to operate a variety of hand tools safely and to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Strong eye/hand coordination, ability to lift 75 lbs. and stand for long periods of time
  • Full vaccination against COVID 19
